Nancy Klain is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and of the University of Chicago, where she majored in English. In addition, Ms. Klain is currently enrolled at the New York University School of Law, where she is pursuing an Advanced Professional Certificate in Taxation, with a concentration in Estate Planning.
Ms. Klain’s practice focuses on estate planning and administration, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and probate proceedings. She previously practiced estate planning and family law with Miller, Canfield, Paddock, and Stone, a Detroit-area law firm, and returned to practice with Fishman Law, PLLC, after taking time away to raise her family.
Ms. Klain is a member of the American Bar Association, the Virginia Bar Association, the Fairfax Bar Association, and the Military Spouse JD Network. She is admitted to practice in Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Michigan, and before the Supreme Court of the United States.
Vicki Fishman has been practicing law in the Washington D.C. area since 1997, when she received her J.D. from the University of Michigan. She received her B.A. in Religion from Swarthmore College in 1993. Her practice focuses on estate planning and administration, topics she lectures on to professional and community groups in the metro area.
